Testimonials
"A few months ago I was faced with a dilemma. I have had in-office reception throughout my career. This comes with many advantages but also some disadvantages. When my receptionist announced that she needed to quit to attend to family exigencies. I had limited time to recruit, hire and train a replacement, I was in a bind to cover reception. Fortunately I learned that Virtual Integrated Assistant (VIA) had just been launched. Given the unconventional nature of the approach to reception and that fact that VIA was starting from scratch on my business, I was quite nervous about how it would all operate. Just two months later, my fears were not only alleviated, but I have been thrilled with the set-up. It is clearly the best system I’ve had in my 28 year career. Reception has a primary receptionist devoted to me and there is redundancy in coverage as there are backups such that when the primary receptionist needs to be out of the office there is another to provide coverage. They are personable, highly professional, articulate, and they dot the I’s and cross all the T’s. Everything works seamlessly between reception, scheduling, billing, authorizations, chart management, etc. Like any practice, mine has idiosyncrasies and unique needs. I am stunned how promptly they were up and running, not missing a beat. They are readily available to troubleshoot any issue that may arise and are flat-out delightful to work with, I even have patients emailing me to commend me for the excellent system that I’ve contracted with and which they offer. The cherry on top is the cost is a substantial reduction to what I’ve paid in the past to have my reception and billing needs met. Hiring VIA was the wisest staff move I ever made. I couldn’t be more thrilled nor more impressed. Most importantly, it is nice to feel at ease where my sole work responsibility is to do that which I am trained to do."
Dr. Kent W. Anderson PhD, Clinical Psychologist"I worked in reception and insurance matters for 16 years, I know when a quality service is being done. VIA is to be commended for excellent professional service. Some things are worth not cutting corners on, and it's important to give compliments for a job well done."

Our Story
VIA was born out of a personal experience that resonated deeply with our founders. They had encountered the real challenges faced by businesses leasing individual office spaces in buildings, where there was no dedicated personnel to welcome their clients.
The catalyst for VIA came when co-founder Tracey Kartsone arrived at a building for a scheduled appointment. She wondered around looking for the listed office suite, asking for directions and eventually discovering it. She waited in the lounge area for over 40 minutes before she finally knocked on the office door, only to find it completely empty. Perplexed and scouring her phone for any cancellation notice or relevant information, she found nothing. To her knowledge, the appointment was still on, and her associate was simply just attending to another client.
As she left the building, she contemplated the significant inconveniences she had experienced. What struck her was not just the mild frustration and time wasted but also the safety concern. It was late afternoon when she left, and the poorly lit parking lot raised safety issues.
This incident ignited the spark for VIA. Hearing similar stories from friends and colleagues, our founders recognized that this was a widespread problem affecting numerous people and businesses. Consequently, they embarked on a mission to develop a solution—a service that provides a full-time receptionist who never calls in sick, is never late, and without the exorbitant costs.
